Two ways to partner
Apply as the advocate who appears, or as the company that supports the work. Both are verified before any brief is sent.
Advocate or law firm
Individual advocates and law firms who will appear in the matter as associate advocates.
You will need
- Enrolment with a State Bar Council, with the enrolment number
- A valid Certificate of Practice (COP)
- A copy of the enrolment certificate or Bar Council ID card for each advocate named
- Your practice areas (cyber, traffic, criminal, civil) and the states in which you practise

Settlement or legal-support company
Companies that handle documentation, filing coordination and follow-up. Any appearance is made by an enrolled advocate.

- PAN of the company or proprietor
- Contact person, office address and city
- Payout details for the business account
- The services you handle and the states and union territories you serve

You receive a masked case brief
A WhatsApp message with a private link shows the type of matter, the state, the forum, the current stage and the amount involved. Briefs reach only partners whose practice areas and states match. The customer's identity is not shared before the award.
You place a sealed bid within 24 hours
Quote your professional fee and any official costs you expect, such as fines or court fees. Bids are sealed, are not visible to other partners and are binding if awarded. The window may close earlier once enough bids arrive.
The lowest total wins, after admin review
VirtualVakil reviews every award. A lower total is preferred but does not guarantee the award. Partners who are not selected are informed, and their bids stay confidential.
You fulfil the matter with evidence
The full case details open only for the awarded partner. Upload the client-signed vakalatnama or an authorisation letter before filing; at each stage, upload the filing, order or award and any official payment receipts.
Your payout is released after verification
VirtualVakil verifies the documents, then releases the official costs and your professional fee. Each matter shows its payout status: held, released, paid.

Steady matter flow
Briefs come from customers who have already booked with VirtualVakil, in the practice areas and states you choose. You bid only on the matters you want.
No marketing spend
You do not advertise, solicit or chase clients. VirtualVakil handles customer intake; there is no fee to join and no referral fee or commission either way.
Transparent payouts
Your bid states official costs and your fee separately. Payout is tied to documents you upload, and every stage of the payment is visible on your job page.
Data handled with care
Briefs are masked until the award, and customer data is used only for the awarded matter, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Professional conduct. This is an invitation to apply for empanelment, not an advertisement of any advocate. Partners must follow the Advocates Act, 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules, including the bar on soliciting work and advertising (Rule 36). No commission, referral fee or payment for obtaining work is paid or accepted by either side, and no inducement is ever offered to any court, police or government official.
